So, besides all the engagement excitement, I did a little site update.  I changed the navigation menu to be less oblong lol.  I added animation to the menu, Simpsons Mike, and each page's icon when viewed on a mobile device.  I uploaded the "In Search of California" video to the main page for now, and will move it to videos and acting sections on my site.

In June 2019, "The Nowhere Men" played a full set of Beatles covers for a surprise birthday party.  Jim Fusco, Steve M, Matt M, Michael J Fusco, and myself rocked for over 2 hours.  Video and pics to come soon!

In August, Chris and myself will FINALLY get to resume work on our debut album, "McCall Heracles- Are You Human?" after a hiatus working on the other projects.  We lost Steve's grandpa this summer, and I'm hoping to finally record, "My Sweetheart" in honor of him.  It is the song about his whirlwind love with his wife of 50 years.

My new equipment will definitely go to good use for our album...

Well, that was a freebie!  My blog editor starts off with a blank text box that suggests I "add an engaging title".... and that's exactly what I did!

So much to update you all on!  First of all, my hiatus this year has not been for lack of creative work, it's just that I was making a secret project.... An engagement video for Cali!  And she said YES!  So... here's how it happened.  I bought a new MacBook Pro 15", a new Canon Mirrorless DSLR (EOS M50 in White, to be different, of course).  I bought a gimbal and Chris, Tomas, and myself did our best to learn how to use it in a matter of hours.  I culminated the moments leading up to and including my full cross-country adventure searching for California.  I re-enacted the day I left with Chris's help, re-enacted the moment I crossed the border into CA with Chris and Alberto's help, and recreated the moment Cali and I met- with Yvette and Tomas's help!  I edited it all into a "preview", and at Christmas time 2018, I approached the s...

On the 18th day of February 2019, Chris and I began the official sessions of our first DryKnuckle BedHeads album!  Here’s the session notes from the quick evening meeting:

  • Coffee, track selection, studio equipment prep

  • Solidified “Nobody Revisited” (live arrangement)

  • Finished lyrics to “Call the Bus”
  • Lyrical edits to “Patches” and “Relationship Harbor”
  • Practiced “Lose it! ...Or Use It”
Big, full day planned for tomorrow. Very excited to pick up on 2019 where 2018 left off... with some serious studio work!  The clean cold air and silent snow was the perfect backdrop to Shed Zeppelin this evening, while the cozy loft kept the music flowing with a warm energy. So happy to be home and a little nervous to begin this big undertaking!  Check back tmrw for more updates!

January 5, 2019

Hey everyone!  Posted a new mix of "Angel on My Tree" after hearing in a car and a few other sources.  this may change many times between the re-release in November.... you know, when people actually wanna hear Christmas music haha.  I have been dusting off some Future Classics that have not been released yet.  I want to get good mixes and finish those pesky Bass tracks and harmonies that always seem to hold me back, due to their daunting nature.  "Freezing Time" is one that comes to mind, so look for a new, ALL SEASON TIRES....as in a song for all seasons that you won't TIRE of!

Speaking of seasons, here is a few pics from the Christmas trip home that was the absolute BEST, including studio time with my fellow DryKnuckle BedHead, Chris Moore!  happy friday!

When did I last post on here?? Hahah HI EVERYONE!  And HAPPY NEW YEAR!  So while I fell short of releasing BOTH new Christmas songs by Christmas 2018, Chris and I did manage to release the perfect “Christmas from Now On” in time to be the song of the season!  Also, on January 1st 2019, I released “Angel on My Tree” and is available for free streaming or purchase download!  Is it perfect?  No. I think in November of This year I’ll revisit two or three bits of fine tuning (lead vocal that I recorded while sick, piano during breakdown part of song, and some guitar/drum interludes I want to adjust).  But, for now, it’s there to enjoy for those who aren’t ready to say goodbye to the most wonderful time of the year yet (myself and Cali included!). So I want to focus on the positives of 2018.  Travel, recording two songs, writing a few new by myself and with Chris, solidifying our tracklist for our album we will begin recording in February, having the best Christmas ever loaded with surprises...

Live at the Covina Farmer's Market in Covina, CA, I gave a two+ hour chilling performance for shoppers, crafters, and cookers alike.  Of course, the chilling was more due to Mother Nature (around 50 degrees the whole outdoor, night time set!), but I'd be willing to wager some goosebumps were provided by my awesomeness.  And I had to be awesome... I promised I'd rock like it's the end of the world.

My first real concert, played at the world famous Whisky A Go Go in the heart of Hollywood.  I rocked an acoustic 45 minute set, playing songs old and new, with percussion help from those in the crowd who cheered on

The final nail is hammered into place by my father, completing a 2+ year effort to finish my home recording studio.  Located in the woods of beautiful Wallingford, CT (my home town!), it rests dormant until I get back to record.  I have just left my home of 26 years to pursue an unplanned adventure across th country, making good on a self-promise to someday move to California.  Shed Zeppelin (Also named Studio Fifty-Fusc, flatFLAT, Wallywood, Feel-Like-Makin-Loft Studios, and Bowl of Studi'Os) was completed the very day I left...Breaking my streak of never finishing anything.  It still remains my absolute favorite place on the planet.
