One of my favorite things about LA is the culture and appreciation for the lesser-known things. I have read so much about the US not being as musically sophisticated as England (for example, the reception of "Pet Sounds" there versus over here).  And even though Hollywood is where much of the mainstream, largely baseless fluff comes from, there is a HUGE presence of underground/counter culture. They love vinyl and old cars that are stock and cherry.. they love and tour "lost" legends like when newer acts performed a "No Other" tour, celebrating Gene Clark's forgotten masterpiece. That being said, there comes the poster-child for that movement. George Harrison. After my brothers visit, when "

Dopest Dopes

Hi all!  Made some minor formatting updates to the mobile version of the site. Been submitting acting auditions all evening after work today and now I'm going to go walking and then running. Happy birthday to my buddy Tomas! Had a fun night with my neighbors and housemates- a truly old-fashion LA night with the dopest bunch of dopes that live on Heliotrope 😂 well I'll hit you all back with auditions and gigs as they come. My bestest Steve will be flying in soon and I'll be flying out to the big Easy coast at the end of march!  I'll be celebrating my birthday, my family, and baseball. I can't wait for the epic trip and lots of quality home time to rejuvenate me! Okay... gonna run before the

Lift off

Some updates: Made my Hollywood Casting profile and submitted to a bunch of auditions. Set up my Actors Access account and did more of the same!  Reuploaded broken link and embedded new player for the old Masters of the Universe band CD Release Party video of "Ghost Town" and working on making the YouTube channel linkable. Added new Social Media bar to main and mobile versions of my website with Instagram, Sound Cloud, Facebook (personal and artist page), and Twitter (personal and lyric/fan page) So now that my eyes have reached that point of glazing over that could only occur after hours of tedious work has been put in, it's time to go out and have some fun/get moving. I LOVE this picture p

Live at the Covina Farmer's Market in Covina, CA, I gave a two+ hour chilling performance for shoppers, crafters, and cookers alike.  Of course, the chilling was more due to Mother Nature (around 50 degrees the whole outdoor, night time set!), but I'd be willing to wager some goosebumps were provided by my awesomeness.  And I had to be awesome... I promised I'd rock like it's the end of the world.

My first real concert, played at the world famous Whisky A Go Go in the heart of Hollywood.  I rocked an acoustic 45 minute set, playing songs old and new, with percussion help from those in the crowd who cheered on

The final nail is hammered into place by my father, completing a 2+ year effort to finish my home recording studio.  Located in the woods of beautiful Wallingford, CT (my home town!), it rests dormant until I get back to record.  I have just left my home of 26 years to pursue an unplanned adventure across th country, making good on a self-promise to someday move to California.  Shed Zeppelin (Also named Studio Fifty-Fusc, flatFLAT, Wallywood, Feel-Like-Makin-Loft Studios, and Bowl of Studi'Os) was completed the very day I left...Breaking my streak of never finishing anything.  It still remains my absolute favorite place on the planet.
