It's long way to the top if you want to Rock....

For those in my most inner circle, I was gonna name this post, "Rock Face"... but that's an inside joke for another time. Actually, No. the time is now. Once when my brother Jim, Chris, and myself had a band, Chris suggested possibly naming one of our albums after a photo he propositioned we take- in which our shadows would be visible cast upon a large wall of rocks. the name of said hypothetical album? "Rock Face." it STILL makes me laugh out loud!! :) So this has been a ROUGH week. I have been Sick: The Sequel... the revenge of the virus! And also stuff in general has been hard to learn to cope with my girlfriend's cousin's unexpected loss. It has, however, been a demonstration a

Hey everyone... I've had a very sad but reflective weekend. The untimely and confusing passing of Cali's cousin has been very tough on everyone... But in this case, it's a time we can stop, breathe extra deep, love extra hard, and live twice as much as before to truly appreciate what we have. I am really looking forward to going home, especially to see my mom and family/friends, so I'll be buying my ticket east soon for the late summer/early fall. I understandably haven't gotten to do as much work as originally planned with my weekend, but I have written to a few gigs that I'm waiting to hear back from. I'll write when I can, the week will be tough but I'll do my best to get on here and

Thinking of U2

It's been quite an adventurous week! But all the illnesses in the world couldn't stop me :) So I got to do one of my favorite things of all time again- go on a road trip and explore some place I've never been. And it totally ROCKED! (you'll get that if you've been to Joshua Tree National Park). I can totally see why U2 picked that for the name of their Rock album... It was nothing short of exhilarating and inspirational, and I can't wait to share more photos with my napkin notes. Photo credit of this goes to Ms California- she got some really awesome shots on our adventure! Next one will be on Labor Day... stay tuned! So today I have the day off... I've paid all my bills, mentally pre

Adversity. Being foolish enough to not give up when the going gets tough is what separates people who do normal things and people who accomplish greatness. So today, which started off great- not being needed at work- became a migraine filled, car trapped, team-crushing, internet disconnecting kinda day. And here I am... 9:04pm...sitting in the chilly air typing and uploading away. So tonight I'm working on some simple page edits. I made the Acting site into Acting/Modeling site. Im adding some content (for the third time tonight due to internet losing my updates....lots of work wasted)... I listened to some recordings and it's lifted me up with their potential. So... a quick entry ton

The Leading Man...

Hello everyone! Let me get right down to the updates. In the Acting section, I've updated the site (finally). I put one still from Millionaire Matchmaker and some stills/footage from a music video I was in. I gotta get some more content on here and, more importantly, get involved in more projects to add the content. It's been far too long. My neighbor and my roommate are both wizards of video editing and production, so I may tapping into their resource this month. I'll be adding the Modeling section to the Acting tab and put all of my headshot from last year (the one and only time I've had them done!). Kids, word to the wise... don't go to a smoke-machine filled bar/party and drink the

Live at the Covina Farmer's Market in Covina, CA, I gave a two+ hour chilling performance for shoppers, crafters, and cookers alike.  Of course, the chilling was more due to Mother Nature (around 50 degrees the whole outdoor, night time set!), but I'd be willing to wager some goosebumps were provided by my awesomeness.  And I had to be awesome... I promised I'd rock like it's the end of the world.

My first real concert, played at the world famous Whisky A Go Go in the heart of Hollywood.  I rocked an acoustic 45 minute set, playing songs old and new, with percussion help from those in the crowd who cheered on

The final nail is hammered into place by my father, completing a 2+ year effort to finish my home recording studio.  Located in the woods of beautiful Wallingford, CT (my home town!), it rests dormant until I get back to record.  I have just left my home of 26 years to pursue an unplanned adventure across th country, making good on a self-promise to someday move to California.  Shed Zeppelin (Also named Studio Fifty-Fusc, flatFLAT, Wallywood, Feel-Like-Makin-Loft Studios, and Bowl of Studi'Os) was completed the very day I left...Breaking my streak of never finishing anything.  It still remains my absolute favorite place on the planet.
